Nanimals on the Production line

April 19, 2011
Me and Norman, so far, have been spending many hours on friends’ couches and bedroom floors, sewing away furiously (it’s really a pitty Norman is just a stuffed animal.. I could really do with an extra pair of paws to help sew.. but don’t tell him I said that!)

Norman in the process

I am, at the current moment, planning to make a Norman versus Inspirhasie material sculpture. It’s a nice mission to go on. It reminds me why us plush toy peoples call ourselves 3-dimensional illustrators. How appropriate!

Love it! Awesome idea to think of them being born, in a properly complicated yet instinctive process, mysteriously, on couches and floors, somewhere unknown. Have I met Inspirhasie yet? Can’t wait to see all the critters.

You haven’t met Inspirhasie yet, nope. He’s new! He is, technically speaking, the assistant of von Schmop (the explorer) and he is used to lure Norman in with his cuteness.. and then Norman get’s terribly excited and tries to eat him, by accident.. hephep
