Boston’s Finest is the second painting in my underground Hip Hop portrait series called Kings of the Underground which pays tribute to the finest MC’s and Beat-makers in the underground hip hop scene. The second painting features lyricist, Mr Lif, who hails from Boston, Massachusetts and is known for his politically charged rhymes as a means of educating his fans and bringing Hip Hop back to its roots…music with a message, which acts a voice for the people who have none!

Below is a step by step work in progress of how I went about creating this portrait.
